Welcome to Luna’s Daycare, a licensed group in-home childcare program where children grow, learn, and thrive in a safe, loving environment. We proudly care for children from infants to 12 years old, offering full-time, part-time, and overnight care, as well as before- and after-school programs and summer care to meet your family’s unique needs.
Our dedicated team of full- and part-time staff members creates a nurturing, home-like atmosphere where every child feels valued. We believe every child deserves an engaging, inclusive early learning experience. That’s why we follow the research-based HighScope Curriculum, which emphasizes active learning and child-initiated activities that help kids become independent, confident thinkers. We also build on this with our own culturally sensitive program, giving children opportunities to explore different cultures, religions, and languages in ways that foster curiosity, respect, and understanding.

Our Story
Luna’s Daycare is truly a family business. Moe and Lubna, a husband-and-wife team, have lovingly operated our licensed home daycare from the same location for the last 13 years, providing a stable, trusted space for children to grow and thrive. As parents of three teenagers themselves, they understand firsthand how important it is for families to feel confident and supported.
Lubna holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) certification and serves as the Treasurer of the Provider Collective of Michigan, where she advocates for law changes that benefit providers and parents alike. This leadership reflects the deep care and passion she brings to every child in her care.
Our goal has always been to recreate the warmth and connection of a traditional family household. We believe children thrive best when they feel at home — loved, respected, and free to learn about the world around them. Over the years, we’ve welcomed children from many cultures, helping them build friendships and confidence that last a lifetime.
